Sarenpet

12th Dynasty

Sarenpet was an official who served Senwosret I (1971-1926 B.C.) of the 12th Dynasty as the mayor of the city of Knum. He also was the overseer of the priests of the local temples. his tomb in Aswan is noted for its lovely scenes of bullfights and fishing. It also is noted for a portrait of Sarenpet and his dog.
