Kharga Oasis, Al Wadi Al Gadeed, Egypt

Description

Little is known about this temple built by the Romans 25 km South of the Kharga Oasis. It was dedicated to Amenebis, god of the town of Tchnonemyris. There is an inscription which indicates that the temple was restored during the reign of emperor Antoninus (138-61 AD)
