N.B. -the Met has a lovely small Egyptian temple on permanent display,
granted as part of the UNESCO rescue project during construction of
the Aswan dam. Well worth a look, it's said to be best viewed at night.
The Egyptian wing of the Met is worth viewing anytime.

Also visit the small Temple of Taffa, once dedicated to Isis,
and which is now, after a stormy career which included
being knocked down by a ship before the UNESCO rescue,
reerected at the Museum.
