Egyptian Societies, Clubs and Associations
Basically, most of the following societies, clubs and associations hold meetings, have events and lectures and their membership is open to the general public. Some even organize tours to Egypt for their members. Joining an Egyptian society is a great way to meet people with the same interests in Egypt as yourself, and many serve the very useful purpose of supporting museums, digs and other professional Egyptology activities. We are looking for other societies such as this throughout the world, so if you know of others that are not mentioned here, please email me at jimdunn@interoz.com. In addition, if you would like to form a society in your community, email us and we will coordinate and work with you in its development.
