Period: 6th Dynasty, Reign of Pepi I (2289-2255 BC)

Niankhpepi the Black was the "Supervisor of Upper Egpt" and "Chancellor of the King of Lower Egypt". His tomb was cut at Meir, the cemetery of the capital in the region of Qus. This statue depicts a striding bearer, wearing a short wig and a simple, white kilt.
