Description:
The El-Montaza Palace & Gardens in Alexandria was built by Khedive Abbas II (reigned 1892-1914). The Turko-Florentine palace was renovated by King Fouad in 1926 and is now the presidential summer residence. The surrounding 1.4 square kilometer gardens are open to the public.
