Luxor Temple

It is located 670 km south of Cairo. This ancient city is part of old "Thebes the Hundred crated" which welcomed visitors from all the countries of the ancient world. Having conquered Egypt the Arabs bemused by its tall buildings and impressive temples called it "El Qusur" meaning "The Castles". To West Bank

  • Valley of Kings-Deir El Bahari Temple-Colossi of Memnon and The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Excursion to the Necropolis of Thebes, on the Eastern bank. Crossing the Nile, drive to the Valley of Kings; visit the tombs of various Dynasties, The Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the return journey stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenopis III facing the Nile. and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

2. Full Day Tour:

East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temple

  • Excursion to the Luxor Temple to see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. Proceed by carriage or bus to Karnak, which is a serious of temples built in different reigns. Starting by the Avenue of Sphinxes visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with it's 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatchepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake.

4. Full Day Tour:

Abydos, and Denderah. Hathoor and Osiris Temples

  • Morning we drive to Abydos, where the ancient Egyptians believed the god Egypt for you (lord of the underworld) to be buried. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt. We then continue to Denderah to visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love and joy. Hathor Temple, with its sacred lake and famous astrological roof, is a delicately beautiful structure. Hathor is the patroness of the Ahathoor Temple.

5. Full Day Tour:

To Esna

  • Way to sightseeing. Visit the Temple of Esna, built during the reign of Thutmose III and dedicated to the ram-god Khnum whom the ancient Egyptian believed fashioned man from mud of the Nile on his potters wheel.

6. Full day Tour:

Esna and Edfu

  • Travel by car on the East side of the Nile to Esna. At Esna, cross the Barrage to visit Esna Temple on the West side, then proceed to Edfu and visit the temple of Horus. A cold lunch basket is provided.
