British Man Bikes Egypt & Promotes Tourism

British Man Bikes through Egypt

August 18, 2011 - British Environmental Scientist, Dominic Gill, recently toured Egypt on a tandem bike after leaving the protests in Tahrir on June 16.

Mr. Gill stated at a press conference in Cairo that he wanted to tour the country to meet people and is encouraging people to come visit Egypt. He did see many of the sites in Sinai and the Western Sahara but his intention was really to meet the Egyptian people and document the changes post-January 25 revolution.

The film presents Mr. Gill as he rides around Egypt, sharing his tandem bike with strangers on a 4,000 km (about 2,500 miles) journey.
