Years of experience, a friendly atmosphere and an excellent organization are not our goal - just the beginning! Day Trips

Our boats are always accompanied by an experienced diving instructor, divemaster or dive guide. We arrange full day dive trips which includes 2 dives or a late start with a relaxing pace of only 1 dive. Night dives are being organized according to request. All of our boats are conveniently located at our own jetty, minutes from the center. The choice of beautiful reefs are endless. Daily trips to Abu Nuhas a beautiful reef boasting 4 diverse wrecks some as recent as 1983 and others having rested on the seabed for over 100 years! (Arranged locally on request; weather permitting). Liveaboards on request

From 3-7 day trips available, either North or South of Hurghada. Please book in advance. Learn to Dive with James & Mac

For "beginners" we offer open water courses according to the rules and regulations of SSI, PADI or CMAS. All three organizations are internationally accepted. The beginner's course takes 5 days, with the first half in the classroom and on the beach. The last 3 days are spent on

our boats getting your open water experience and observing the coral reef inhabitants. Facilities and Location

The diving center is well organized containing a classroom, equipment rental storage room, dive bags storage room, a fresh water rinsing pool, drying facilities, workshop, compressor room, a small divers shop, a Kodak development service, a small medical clinic and the office where several languages are spoken. The "garden" is a popular meeting place for relaxing after your days diving, enjoying cool drinks, good company and beautiful scenery.

Between our staff many languages are spoken, including German, English, French, and Scandinavian. All boats are equipped with oxygen and first aid kits. James & Mac are located on the beach front within the Giftun Beach Resort. The Giftun was one of the first hotels in Hurghada and is still very popular and well run.
