Hrihor

20th Dynasty

Hrihor was a High priest, and is considered a pretender to the throne, the earlier stages of whose career remains a mystery. His parentage is unknown, but it is known that his power rested on his tenure as High Priest of Karnak. His name is almost always proceeded by the phrase "First Prophet of Amon Re".
