Meri

12th Dynasty

Meri was an official during the reign of Senwosret I. He oversaw the construction of the mortuary complex at the king's pyramid at Lisht. He was also the governor of the area around the pyramid. An account of his honors and career is on a stela that is now located in the Louvre.
