Ramose
Eighteenth Dynasty
Ramose served as vizier during the reigns of Amenhotep III and Akhenaten. He served during the years before the 'Amarna period and witnessed the new religion of Akhenaten. He died before the new capital at 'Amarna was built. He was buried at Thebes, but the tomb that appeared to have been built for him, was not used by him. This tomb, however, is famous for its reliefs. It is thought that Ramose was a relative of Amenhotep, Son of Hapu.
